The bridge between fiat and crypto is poorly built

1

Going from fiat to USDC means two KYCs and three days

You want to convert your salary to USDC. You have to: do KYC at the exchange, wait for verification, deposit fiat (with bank fee), buy USDC (with exchange spread), withdraw to wallet (with withdrawal fee). Three days, five fees, two platforms.

2

Exiting USDC to fiat is worse

You want to convert USDC to EUR to pay rent. Exchange again, spread, SEPA withdrawal fee, bank wait. And if your exchange has operational issues that week, your money is trapped.

3

Paying a fiat-only vendor or client forces you out of crypto

You earn in USDC, but your vendor only accepts bank euros. You have to sell, wait, transfer. You lose at every step and every wait.

4

You operate on five networks and your life is gas-and-bridge chaos

You have USDC on Ethereum, Polygon, Solana and Tron depending on the project. Every time you move between networks, you pay bridge fees, assume bridge risk, wait for confirmations.

The operation, step by step

1

Receive USDC on the network you prefer

We give you a deposit address on Ethereum, Polygon, Solana or Tron. You receive native USDC on that network. No bridge, no wrap, no intermediary.

2

Your balance centralizes in Tier-1 custodied USDC

Once at Kunga, your USDC is custodied by regulated Tier-1 entities, separated from Kunga's operations. Auditable, liquid, no rehypothecation.

3

Convert to fiat only when you need it

When you need EUR, USD or MXN, you convert 1:1 with no added spread. It transfers to your IBAN, ACH or CLABE — or to the recipient's bank if you're paying a third party.

4

Go back to crypto whenever you want

You receive fiat from a client or convert part of your balance to USDC to send to another wallet. Without going through an exchange with extra KYC. No orderbook, no slippage.

Not another wallet. It's the frictionless connection between crypto and fiat.

Kunga is the layer that connects both worlds: you come in with USDC from any network and cash out to EUR, USD or MXN with real banking details — and the other way around, without going through an exchange.

Regulated custody, segregated funds, no rehypothecation

Tier-1 custody and fund segregation

Your USDC is custodied by regulated Tier-1 entities, separated from Kunga's corporate operations. If Kunga ceases to exist, your funds aren't lost — they're held by the regulated provider.

No rehypothecation, no hidden lending

We never invest, lend or rehypothecate your balance. What you deposit is 100 % liquid, 24/7. No hidden yield-bearing, no covert staking product, no counterparty risk via DeFi exposure.

On-chain traceability and full reporting

Every operation logged with blockchain hash, timestamp and fiat value. Auditable on any explorer. Exportable for your accounting.

MiCA and AML/CTF compliance

We operate under the European crypto-asset framework (MiCA) and apply the anti-money-laundering directive. Active monitoring of suspicious transactions, reporting to competent authorities. Compliance is not optional or decorative at Kunga.

What people already operating in USDC with Kunga say

I work for a DAO that pays USDC on Polygon. Before, I had to: withdraw to Metamask, send to Binance, sell to EUR, SEPA withdraw, wait 3 days. With Kunga, USDC reaches my account and you convert to EUR when you need to. Five steps to one.

Lukas K., smart contract dev · Berlin

As CFO of a Web3 startup I needed a provider that understood our model: we earn in USDC, pay contractors in USDC, but everything has to be reported in EUR. Kunga is the only one that gives us blockchain hash + fiat value at the moment, all exportable.

IC

Inés C., CFO Web3 startup · Lisbon

I've been operating in DeFi for years. My problem was never onchain, it was exiting to fiat without an exchange blocking my account for 'suspicious activity pattern'. Kunga gives me direct off-ramp to IBAN without a centralized exchange in the middle.

FAQ about operating in USDC with Kunga

Is Kunga a self-custody wallet?

No. Kunga is a platform with custody regulated by Tier-1 entities. Your USDC is held by a regulated third party, not by you directly (as it would be in Metamask or Phantom). The benefit: if you lose access, we can recover your account via support. The trade-off: you trust the regulated custody, not your seed phrase.

Can I send my USDC to an external self-custody wallet?

Yes. At any time you can send your USDC to an external wallet on Ethereum, Polygon, Solana or Tron. You only pay the network's gas.

What happens if Kunga stops operating?

Your funds are custodied by a regulated Tier-1 entity, separated from Kunga. In the (unlikely) event Kunga ceased operations, the custodied funds would be returned according to the custodian's regulated processes. Your USDC is never "inside" Kunga — it's in a third party's custody.

Does Kunga do staking, lending or yield with my USDC?

No. Funds are 100 % liquid, 24/7. We do no staking, no lending, no form of yield generation with your balance. If you want to operate in DeFi, withdraw to your self-custody wallet and operate yourself.

Do you support USDT besides USDC?

Yes. We support USDT on Tron, Ethereum and Polygon. Internal conversion between USDC and USDT is available on the platform. Verify the network on every operation.

How is every operation reported for tax purposes?

Each movement is logged with: blockchain hash, timestamp, USDC amount, fiat equivalent value at the moment of operation, counterparty (if applicable), fee applied. Exportable as CSV for your accountant or tax advisor. Correct tax filing is your responsibility.

Can I receive USDC from a crypto-native client or vendor?

Yes. Share your Kunga deposit address on the network you prefer (Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Tron). The payer sends native USDC on that network. It arrives in your balance in minutes.

What's the difference between Kunga and Coinbase / Binance?

Coinbase and Binance are exchanges: their main business is facilitating trading between crypto assets. Kunga is a multi-currency financial platform: its main business is providing infrastructure to move money between fiat and USDC. We don't do trading, we don't have an orderbook, we don't speculate with your balance.

Do I have to do KYC to use Kunga even if I only operate in USDC?

Yes. Kunga operates under MiCA and AML regulation. All users go through KYC (90 seconds for individuals, KYB with advisor for companies), regardless of whether they operate in fiat, USDC or both.

Is Kunga available in my country?

Availability depends on your country of residence. Verify at /cobertura before starting KYC.
