  • 🇪🇺Shopify Payments → IBAN + 41 800 EUR
  • 🇲🇽OpenPay → CLABE + 612 000 MXN
  • 🏭Pago proveedor (dropship) − 18 000 USDC

You sell to 5 countries. Your financial stack costs you margin, time and sleepless nights.

Gateways take 3-5 % of every order

Stripe charges 2.9 % + €0.30 per European order, 3.5 % + €0.30 per US order. PayPal rises to 4.4 % on cross-border. Your real margin isn't what your Shopify tells you — it's quite a bit less once you subtract fees, FX and disputes.

Each market is a different gateway, a different reconciliation

Your US store collects via Stripe. The Spanish one via Redsys. The Mexican one via OpenPay. Each settles differently, on different timelines, with different statements. Your monthly reporting is Frankenstein.

Reserves that freeze your cash flow

Your gateway holds 10-25 % of your collections for 90 days as a chargeback reserve. If your business grows hard one month, you have €100K trapped in reserve while you need to restock. Growth suffocates you.

If your vertical is "creative", gateways close your account

You sell supplements, wellness-linked products, digital info-products, fashion drops. You hit €100K/month. Stripe flags you as "elevated risk" and reviews your account. PayPal closes you. Starting over with another gateway takes weeks.

Kunga isn't your payment gateway. It's what comes after.

What Kunga IS

  • The business account where you receive the settlement of your gateways in each market
  • Local bank details (IBAN, ACH, CLABE) so Stripe, PayPal or Shopify Payments pay you as a local account in each country
  • 1:1 conversion to USDC to centralize treasury with no hidden spread
  • The payments layer for suppliers, dropshippers, marketing agencies and employees from a single balance
  • Integrated fiat + crypto reporting if your business also accepts stablecoin

What Kunga is NOT

  • It's not checkout on your store (you keep using Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.)
  • It doesn't process credit cards directly
  • It's not a payment gateway replacing Stripe, PayPal or Adyen
  • It doesn't connect natively with your CMS (API integration on the roadmap for now)

Kunga complements your current stack. Your gateway keeps charging your customers, but now it settles to a multi-currency account with local details in each market and centralizes everything on a single platform for treasury.

Collect like a local in each country. Centralize treasury in one.

1

Local bank details in 5 markets from day 1

When you activate your business account you get a European IBAN, US ACH routing, Mexican CLABE and support for BRL and GBP. Configure each gateway to settle to the corresponding local account. Your Stripe USA pays your ACH, your Shopify Payments Spain your IBAN, etc.

2

No arbitrary reserves on your cash flow

We don't apply preventive reserves like Stripe or PayPal. What you receive is available (with standard bank settlement times). Your cash flow doesn't suffocate when you grow. If a specific operation triggers an AML alert (regulated standard), your advisor contacts you to resolve it.

3

Consolidated settlement in USDC

Every collection that arrives converts 1:1 to USDC, no hidden spread. Your treasury stops being in 5 scattered accounts and lives in a single balance. Convert to EUR, USD, MXN or whatever you need to pay suppliers, payroll and operations.

4

Reporting by market and by currency

Every collection logged with timestamp, source currency, market of origin, USDC equivalent amount and fee. Exportable to CSV for your accountant or ERP. Your monthly reporting stops being Frankenstein.

For e-commerce with GMV over €5M/year, we offer tiered conditions. If your vertical falls into a high-risk category due to chargeback ratio or regulated sector, pricing may be adjusted with specific due diligence. Talk to an advisor for your case.

Does your e-commerce fall into a high-risk category?

E-commerce is a broad sector. Most online stores selling standard physical products (fashion, electronics, home, decor) operate as standard e-commerce and apply the conditions on this page.

Some sub-segments may fall into a high-risk category based on due diligence: dropshipping with high chargeback ratios, supplements with specific regulatory claims, digital info-products with high refund ratios, high-volume fashion with massive returns, wellness-linked products with strict sector regulation, adult industry.

If your model falls into any of these sub-segments, we don't reject you by default: we apply specific due diligence and, if it meets criteria, we operate with you under agreed conditions.

Your cash flow, in regulated custody

Regulated Tier-1 custody

Your funds are custodied by regulated Tier-1 entities, separated from Kunga's operations. Custody is in your company's name, segregated and auditable.

No arbitrary reserves

We don't freeze a percentage of your collections like traditional gateways. What you receive is available. If a specific operation requires regulatory validation (AML standard), your advisor contacts you directly.

MiCA + AML/CTF compliance

We operate under a regulated European framework. Transaction monitoring to detect fraud or AML patterns, without paralyzing your operation over false positives.

Complete reporting for your finance team and auditors

Every operation is logged and exportable. If your finance team or external auditor needs detailed information by order, market or period, it's available.

How we open your e-commerce account

1

Conversation with an advisor

Call with an advisor who understands e-commerce. You tell them your model (DTC, marketplace, subscription), markets you sell in, approximate monthly GMV, current gateways. The advisor confirms whether we can operate with you and under what conditions.

2

Guided KYB

A dedicated advisor guides you through verification: corporate documentation, beneficial owners, due diligence proportional to your vertical. For standard e-commerce, agile due diligence. For verticals with high-risk elements, specific sector due diligence.

3

Account active and connected to your stack

You receive your multi-currency bank details to configure each gateway's settlement. Multi-user access for your finance, ops or marketing team.

The process duration depends on your vertical, jurisdiction and corporate complexity. Your advisor gives you realistic expectations in the first call.

E-commerce frequently asked questions

Does Kunga replace Stripe, PayPal or Shopify Payments?

No. Kunga is not a payment gateway — it doesn't process credit cards at your checkout. Your current gateway (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, Adyen, etc.) remains the one charging your customers. Kunga is the treasury and collections layer that comes after: it receives each gateway's settlement, centralizes your treasury in USDC, pays suppliers and reports.

How do I configure my gateway to settle to Kunga?

Once your business account is active, you configure in each gateway the bank details of your Kunga account for the corresponding market: European IBAN for Stripe Europe's EUR settlement, ACH routing for Stripe USA's USD settlement, CLABE for OpenPay Mexico's SPEI, etc. The gateway settles as if you were a local account in each country.

Can Kunga receive direct payments from my customers without a gateway?

Yes, for B2B payments or direct transfer operations. Your customers can pay you by bank transfer to your IBAN, ACH or CLABE, without going through a gateway. But for standard B2C checkout (cards), you still need your gateway.

Can my collections be frozen or held?

We don't apply preventive reserves like traditional gateways. If a specific operation triggers an automatic AML alert (common on any regulated platform), your advisor contacts you to resolve it, usually in hours, not months. No arbitrary 10-25 % reserves.

Do you operate with dropshipping?

Yes, with due diligence on chargeback ratio, return policy and consumer protection compliance. If your dropshipping operates with standard metrics, no problem. If your model is aggressive with high fraud ratios, we go to /alto-riesgo with specific conditions.

What if I sell supplements or wellness products?

We operate with supplements and wellness if they comply with labeling and claims regulation in the market where they sell. Specific due diligence on advertising claims and regulatory compliance.

Can we pay our supplier in China or India directly?

For shipments to China, India and other Asian countries, we support payments via USDC to the supplier's wallet (if they accept it) or via compatible corridors. Verify the specific corridor's availability with your advisor before operating.

How does Kunga integrate with my accounting software or ERP?

Today we offer CSV export of all operations, compatible with most accounting software (Holded, Quaderno, Xero, etc.). API integrations in development. For high-volume e-commerce, talk to an advisor about integration priorities.

Is there a minimum GMV volume to open an account?

No minimum GMV or monthly volume. The account is free to open and maintain. Specific conditions (OTC, tiered rates) activate at high volumes.

Is Kunga available for my e-commerce depending on jurisdiction?

Availability subject to the company's country of incorporation and the residence of beneficial owners. Check at /cobertura before starting the conversation with an advisor.
